Super Pikachu

Pikachu trades his Pokéball for a platformer in Super Pikachu, a side-scrolling game that sends the beloved electric mouse through forests, caves, and mountainous terrain packed with enemies and collectibles. The gameplay pulls from classic platform traditions — jumping, dodging, grabbing power-ups — while keeping the whole thing light and accessible.

Scattered throughout the stages are boosts that temporarily change how Pikachu moves or interacts with threats. Speed increases, protective shields, and other pickups add some variation to what might otherwise be straightforward running and jumping. Boss encounters punctuate the level structure and demand a bit more attention than the standard enemies.

Nothing here reinvents the genre, but that's not really the point. It's a comfortable, familiar kind of game — something to pick up for twenty minutes without needing to commit to anything complicated.
