Few puzzles have stood the test of time quite like the Tetris game. Blocks of varying shapes descend from above, and the task is deceptively straightforward — arrange them into solid horizontal lines that vanish and buy you more space to keep going.

The real tension builds gradually. Early moments feel almost leisurely, giving you time to think. Then the pace shifts, gaps accumulate from small misjudgments, and suddenly the stack is dangerously close to the top. That creeping pressure is where Tetris earns its reputation.

Clearing multiple lines at once brings a sharp satisfaction that single-line clears simply don't match. Holding out for the right long piece to slot into a narrow gap is a gamble — sometimes it pays off beautifully, sometimes it costs you everything.
