Vertical Gravity
Gravity isn't your enemy in Vertical Gravity — it's more like an unpredictable collaborator. The whole game is built around flipping your sense of direction, pulling you upward when you expect to fall, leaving you momentarily disoriented in the best possible way.
Platforms are scattered across vertically arranged stages, and reaching them means committing to gravity shifts at just the right moment. Hesitate too long and you've already missed your window. The rhythm you develop after a few failed runs starts to feel almost intuitive, though the game is quick to remind you that overconfidence has consequences.
What makes it stick is how the challenge compounds quietly. Earlier sections feel manageable, almost generous. Then the gaps widen, the platforms drift, and suddenly every decision carries real weight. There's genuine satisfaction in threading through a tricky sequence cleanly — not because the game tells you so, but because you actually feel it.
