Eight levels of increasingly unforgiving platforming await in Watermelon Day 2, where a fruit-themed hero navigates treacherous terrain in search of water glasses scattered across each stage. Spikes, rotating blades, and oversized cutting weapons make the path forward anything but straightforward, and enemy watermelons patrol the ground with surprising persistence.

Reaching the blue flag at the end of a stage feels genuinely earned here. Collecting every water glass while weaving between hazards demands timing and spatial awareness, and the difficulty climbs steadily enough to keep the stakes real without becoming punishing. The pixelated visuals have a playful charm that softens the edges of what is, underneath, a fairly demanding platformer.

For fans of the original, this sequel adds more elaborate obstacle arrangements and tighter level design. Short enough to finish in a single sitting, but tricky enough that a few stages will likely demand multiple attempts.
