Yatosan

Cheese-hunting has never felt this tense. Yatosan is a compact 2D platformer with a deceptively cheerful exterior — bright colors, a bouncy little protagonist, and slices of cheese waiting around every corner. But the levels don't stay forgiving for long.

Spikes, ground saws, and wandering enemies turn each stage into a careful balancing act between greed and survival. Grabbing every cheese slice is the goal, but rushing almost always ends badly. The satisfaction comes from reading a level, finding the rhythm, and pulling off a clean run without losing a life.

Eight levels build steadily in complexity, introducing new hazards just as the previous ones start to feel manageable. That pacing keeps things fresh without ever feeling unfair. Reaching the Exit door after clearing out every last piece of cheese delivers a small but genuine sense of accomplishment — the kind that makes replaying a tricky level feel worth it rather than frustrating.
