Difficulty ramps up steadily as you push through levels, introducing tougher zombie types and tighter time pressure. The balance between offense and defense is where most players find themselves making hard calls — pour resources into firepower, or reinforce the walls first? Neither answer is always right, and that tension keeps things genuinely engaging across multiple playthroughs.
