Caribbean Stud Poker
Sitting across from the dealer with five cards in hand, the quiet tension of Caribbean Stud Poker sets in fast. Unlike traditional poker, there are no bluffs to read from other players — the contest is purely between you and the house, which changes the dynamic considerably.
After placing an ante, you receive your full hand face-up while the dealer keeps four cards hidden. That single visible dealer card becomes your only clue, and whether to fold or commit to a raise comes down to your read of the situation and the strength of what you're holding.
Hands rank the same as standard poker, but the payout structure rewards big combinations generously — a Royal Flush, for instance, carries a notably elevated reward. The dealer must qualify with at least an Ace-King combination, or your raise is returned regardless. That qualification rule shifts outcomes in ways that keep each hand genuinely unpredictable.
