The goal is to clear cards from the course by chaining sequences — each card played must sit one rank above or below the last. Scattered throughout the rounds are special obstacles borrowed straight from the golf world. Sand traps lock certain cards in place, water hazards disrupt your rhythm, and iron cards demand more deliberate thinking before committing. Wild cards occasionally rescue a crumbling chain, but knowing when to use them is half the challenge.

Nine courses give the game enough variety to stay fresh, with each layout presenting a different arrangement of problems to untangle. The golf framing never feels forced — it gives the whole experience a light, breezy character that suits the kind of focused-but-casual play that solitaire does best.
