Flappy Mario

Flappy Mario takes the beloved Nintendo icon and drops him into a one-button gauntlet of pipe-dodging frustration — in the best possible way. Mario flaps through a side-scrolling obstacle course, and the gap between each pipe pair demands just the right moment to tap. Too eager, and he clips the top. Too hesitant, and he plummets.

The mechanics strip everything back to a single input. Each tap lifts Mario briefly against a persistent downward pull, and finding that rhythm is genuinely tricky. Familiar sprites and sounds give the whole thing a nostalgic warmth, even when the pipes are being merciless.

Scoring is purely about survival distance, so there's always a reason to try again. It's the kind of game that's maddening for thirty seconds and then somehow another ten minutes have passed. Simple premise, real difficulty, zero padding.
