GBox Doubling
Tile-sliding puzzles have a way of pulling you in, and GBox Doubling is no exception. The grid starts simple enough — a few numbered tiles, plenty of open space — but within moments you're calculating two, three moves ahead, trying to keep the board from filling up before you can chain another merge.
The core loop is satisfying in a quiet, almost meditative way. Slide tiles together, watch matching values collapse into something bigger, and feel that small rush when a well-timed move opens up a chain you didn't plan. The doubling mechanic means scores can climb fast, but so can the chaos if you stop paying attention.
What keeps the game compelling is how quickly "just one more move" turns into a genuine session. There's no timer breathing down your neck — just the steady pressure of a filling grid and the question of whether your next decision is smart or desperate. Simple to start, surprisingly hard to master.
