Diamonds collected along the way serve as ammunition, letting you shoot down those obstacles before they become a problem.

Occasionally the pig sprouts wings, which shifts the whole dynamic. Airborne sections open up new ways to dodge hazards, and a parachute mechanic gives you some control over how quickly you descend back to the ground. These moments break up the rhythm nicely without feeling disconnected from the rest of the run.
