Space Invaders.io takes the classic alien-shooting formula and pushes it into a competitive online arena. Waves of descending enemies march toward your position, and staying alive means constant movement, constant shooting, and constant awareness of what's closing in from above.

The battlefield fills quickly. Different enemy types move at different speeds, some dropping straight down while others shift unpredictably across the screen. Power-ups appear between waves, offering brief windows to grab shields, upgraded firepower, or score multipliers — but collecting them means exposing yourself to incoming fire.

What separates this from a solo arcade experience is the leaderboard pressure. Other players are fighting through the same waves simultaneously, and the score gap between first and second place can shift in seconds. Surviving longer matters, but so does shooting accurately and grabbing every available upgrade before someone else clears the screen.
