Standing alone in the arena, blade in hand — that's where Swords Man puts you, with two monsters hurling fireballs from both sides and absolutely no time to hesitate. The challenge is razor-thin: slash left, slash right, keep up or burn.

What makes it grip you isn't complexity. It's the mounting pressure of knowing you've only got three mistakes before it ends. Miss once, fine. Twice, nerves start fraying. A third slip and it's over — no second wind, no continues. That strict limit turns every fireball into a small crisis.

The longer you last, the faster everything moves, and your focus has to narrow to almost nothing beyond the next incoming projectile. Reaction becomes instinct becomes obsession. Short sessions, high stakes, the kind of game you restart immediately without thinking about it.
