The Speed Ninja

A village is in danger, and only one ninja stands between safety and chaos. The Speed Ninja drops you onto the rooftops of a Japanese village where an approaching army forces you into a desperate sprint. The goal is straightforward — reach the warning gongs scattered across different districts before the enemy arrives — but getting there demands sharp timing and quick decisions.

Rooftop gaps, sudden obstacles, and hostile figures stand between you and each gong. The movement feels urgent without being punishing, striking a balance that keeps the challenge honest. Power-ups along the route reward attentive players who don't just rush blindly forward.

The setting draws heavily from traditional Japanese aesthetics, giving the environments a distinct character that goes beyond generic runner backdrops. Short bursts of play work well here, though the desire to shave a few seconds off your last run tends to pull you back for one more attempt.
