Eight platforming stages stand between Dario and his goal, each packed with saws, spikes, flying demon heads, and creatures that clearly have no sympathy for romance.

The game leans into classic platformer tension without apology. Obstacles appear in combinations that punish careless movement, and the later stages demand genuine patience — a mistimed jump near a spinning blade ends runs quickly. There's a satisfying rhythm to learning each layout, recognizing patterns, finding the small windows where movement feels clean and controlled.

Underneath the lighthearted premise is a platformer that genuinely respects the difficulty of the genre. The monster variety keeps things unpredictable, and the level designs rarely repeat the same trick twice. Worth playing through to the end.
